Manifesto

Preamble

This is a movement for privileged Gen Z. We grew up with standards. We expect the baseline: breathable cities, roads that move, mental health that is real, skills that map to work, data under our control, modern tools to build with, and fitness access that is not a private club.

Based Lok Dal exists to put those asks on the record. Direct. Checkable. Unapologetic.

Clarity over noise is the method. If a promise cannot be measured, it does not belong here.

What We Want

Clean Air as a Baseline

Breathable cities are not a lifestyle perk. An AQI app is not a policy. We treat air quality as infrastructure.

Streets That Function

We want roads that move and a civic culture that matches. Parents need the refresher too.

Mental Health Within Reach

A helpline is not a system. We want care that is local, staffed, and built for the demand we already have.

Education and Work

Skills Before Scorecards

Exams matter. Jobs matter more. Curriculum and funding should map to skills that employers and builders actually need.

Digital Rights by Default

Our data. Our consent. Our control. Platforms and the state do not get a free pass.

Learning With Modern Tools

AI credits and modern tools should help students build things, not only prepare for JEE, NEET, and UPSC. Ambition is wider than three entrance exams.

Health and Fitness

Protein and Creatine Without Gatekeeping

Fitness basics should not be a luxury. We support public access to training spaces and foundational nutrition, including free creatine and protein. Gains are infrastructure, not a private flex.

How We Work

We publish positions in plain language. We update them when evidence changes. We measure what we claim. If a promise cannot be checked, it does not belong in this manifesto.
